Inaugural function of the College Union & its Affiliated Associations & the 46th Sports Day celebrations

 

Mazharul Uloom College, Ambur organized the Inaugural function of the College Union & its Affiliated Associations & the 46th Sports Day celebrations on Tuesday 19th Aug ‘2014 in the presence of eminent personalities.

The Chief Guest for the Sports Day was Mr. K. Puhazendi, District Sports Officer& Youth welfare officer, Vellore. The Chief Guest declared the sports meet open after the secretary & correspondent, Alijanab M. Nazar Mohamed Sahib lit the Olympic torch. The Athletes took Oath under the leadership of the student sports Secretary, V. Mohammed Atheeq from III B.A (CE) various sports events were conducted followed by the distribution of prizes for the winners. The Chief Guest gave an inspiring speech to the students to make Sports & Exercise a part & parcel of one’s life.

This was followed by the Inauguration of the College Union & its Affiliated Associations. The function was presided over by the Secretary & Correspondent Alijanab M. Nazar Mohammed Sahib. Vice - president of the Day College Union Prof. M. Mohamad Yunus introduced the chairman K. Mujahid III B.Sc (CS) & all the office – bearers of the Day College.

Vice - president of the Evening College Union Prof .A. Zakiuddin Ahmed introduced the Chairperson S. Rabia Basri III B.Sc (MB) & all the office – bearers of the Evening College.

In his address, Principal Dr. P.M. Aadil Ahmed advised the students to follow strict code of conduct and explained the value of College education. This was followed by the Secretary & Correspondent Alijanab M. Nazar Mohamed Sahib’s Address.

The Chief Guest, Dr. H. Munavarjan, Member syndicate Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore through his speech motivated & inspired the students to make use of college activities to expose their latent talents & develop leadership qualities.

The event s ended with National Anthem.
