CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

The Management, Principal, Staff and Students of Mazharul Uloom College, Ambur deeply condole the sudden demise of  Alijanab Chingani Mohamed Akbar sahib, with all their hearts.


We were all shocked to hear the news of the sudden demise of our former Secretary and Correspondent (July 1971 – August 1976) of our college and the current Vice - President, Ambur Muslim Educational Society, Alijanab Alhaj Chingani Mohamed Akbar sahib on Friday, 29th August 2014.


Here is his brief biography, which is just a jist of his many credentials.

 

  • He was educated in Ambur and Vaniyambadi and graduated in Bachelor degree in commerce.  
  • After serving in a reputed British company for some time, he started his own leather export business along with Export Agency.
  • He was one of the founders of the Falah-e-Millath Federation which has been doing great service in giving scholarships in the forms of    fees,books etc. for the poor and deserving school and college students for the past 50 years.
  • It was he who spearheaded the movement for establishing a college at Ambur with the support of his father-in-law late Janab Anaikar Abdul Shukoor sahib and implemented it.
  • He was the first secretary and correspondent of this college from July 1971 to August 1976.
  • He established a school in the remote area of Reddythoppe named “Akbar Naseem Primary School” for the educational upliftment of the  backward people there. 
  • He was a trustee of AMES from the year 1975.
  • He was also a current Vice-President of AMES.


A condolence meeting was organized at Mazharul Uloom College on 01.09.2014 at 11.30 a.m at N.M.Z Auditorium.  All the staff and the students participated.  


A condolence message was sent to his bereaved family.
