Inauguration of College Union And Its Affiliated Associations

A special function to inaugurate the college union and its affiliated associations was conducted at Mazharul Uloom College, Ambur at 11.00 am on Tuesday, 18th August 2015 at N M Zackriah Auditorium of the college. 

Alijanab Alhaj M. Nazar Mohamed, Secretary & Correspondent of the college presided over the function. In his presidential address he asked the students to use every opportunity like college union, provided by the college to study well and also to excel and shine in life. He said that faith and patience are very important to lead a peaceful life. He gave valuable insights and words of wisdom to our students through his speech. Dr. P. M. Aadil Ahmed, Principal and President of college union and its affiliated associations spoke about the importance of associations to develop overall personality of the students. He said that the academic excellence is not only enough to make students as outstanding performers and they should be best at extracurricular activities also. His valuable insights gave the students a new perspective to work hard.

Dr. V. Peruvalluthi, Dean, College Development Council, Professor & Head, Department of English, Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore was the chief guest. He inaugurated the college union and its 15 affiliated associations of the day and 13 affiliated associations of the evening college. He delivered a remarkable and thought provoking speech. He advised the students to keep themselves always active and work hard. He said that team spirit is very important and thus college union and its affiliated associations develop team spirit.  

Dr. A.S. Mohamed Rafee, Dr. N. Raja Hussain, Profs. In-charge of Day and Evening College respectively attended the function. Prof. M. Mohamed Yunus, Prof. A. Zakiuddeen Ahmed Staff Vice-Presidents of Day and Evening college union respectively made arrangements for the smooth conduct of the function and also introduced the office bearers of the college union and its affiliated association. Prof. A. Shafee Ahmed Khan compered the entire program. Student chairman of the day college delivered the welcome address and evening college proposed the vote of thanks.  

Staff vice-presidents, student office bearers, special invitees, management committee members, public, parents, guardians, teaching and non teaching staff, about 500 students and media persons attended the function.
