The Red Ribbon Club (RRC)organized a Health Awareness Program an interactive session on “Breaking Barriers: Prioritizing Women’s Health and Wellness”in our college at Sir Syed Ahmed Khan Convention Hall on 13.02.2026 at 11.30 am. Mrs. M. Parveen Banu, RRC Coordinator welcomed and introduced the chief guest to the gathering. Principal Dr. K. H. Kaleemullah delivered the Presidential address andDr. A Shafee Ahmed Khan, Vice Principal and COE gave a special address highlighting the importance Women’s health. Dr. Amrin MBBS, MS, Consultant - Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Motherhood Women’s Health Centre,Ambur was the chief guest and delivered the keynote address. Dr. Amrin delivered an informative and impactful session focusing on key aspects of women’s health, including the importance of regular health check-ups, menstrual health awareness, and early detection of cervical cancer. She strongly highlighted the need to break social barriers and encouraged women to seek timely medical care without hesitation.The session was highly interactive, and during the Q/A segment, participants actively clarified their doubts. Dr. Amrin patiently addressed the queries, providing practical and easy-to-understand guidance.The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, management, organizers, and participants for making the event a grand success. The event formally ended with the National Anthem.Around 75 students participated in the program.

SEERAT UN NABI (SAL.) CELEBRATIONS,12-02-2026
The Seerat-un-Nabi(sal.) function was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm on 12 February 2026. The programme was presided over by Alijanab Nazar Mohamed Sahib. The Chief Guest, Hazrat Moulana Hafiz Abdul Azeem Sahib Oomeri Madani, delivered a special lecture highlighting the noble life, character, and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sal.). His speech inspired the audience to follow the Prophet’s exemplary conduct in daily life. The gathering began with a warm welcome address by Principal Dr. K. H. Kaleemullah, who greeted the dignitaries and participants and emphasized the importance of Seerat-un-Nabi (sal.) in shaping moral and social values. The programme was effectively compeered by Dr. A. Niyaz Ahmed, ensuring the smooth flow of events. The function concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Dr. P. An Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Application of Generative AI in Teaching and Research” was conducted on 29th January 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM via Google Meet. The programme was organized by the Department of Computer Applications, Data Science, PG & Research Department of Computer Science, and the Center for Multidisciplinary Research (CMR). The objective was to orient faculty members on OBE practices and the ethical use of Generative AI in teaching and research. The session began with a welcome address by Dr. P. Rizwan Ahmed, followed by the inaugural address by Mrs. M. A. Uzefa Rashida, Vice Principal (Shift–II). The technical session was delivered by Mrs. Vaishnava Priya M, who explained CO–PO mapping, Bloom’s Taxonomy alignment, and practical applications of Generative AI. A total of 562 participants registered and 406 attended the live session, and the programme received highly positive feedback.

77th Republic Day Celebration
On 26th January 2025, Republic Day was celebrated by NCC of our College. The NCC Pilots Invited the Chief Guest Mrs. M.A. Uzefa Rashida, Vice-principal Shift – II & Director of IQAC of our college and the Guards Honoured the National Flag with their General Salute while the Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag. The event begun with recitation of Qirath by Dr. S.Afsar Ahmed, Asst. Prof. of Commerce followed by “Tamil Thai Valthu” sung by the Dignitaries and students then the Chief Guest addressed the gathering about the Republic Day and with National Anthem the celebrations ended. Principal, Vice-principal Shift I, Heads & faculties from various departments, Office superintendent administrative staff, students and 46 NCC cadets participated in the Republic Day celebration.

An educational visit to the U R Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru
An educational visit to the U R Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru, was organized on 20.01.2026 for III BCA students by the Department of Computer Applications. A total of 37 students and 3 faculty members participated. Dr. P. Rizwan Ahmed served as the Faculty Coordinator of the visit, managing the overall planning and academic coordination. Dr. A. Kaleemullah and Mr. L. Muhammed Alam accompanied the students as escort faculty members. The visit provided practical exposure to space technology and demonstrated the application of Computer Science in satellite development and aerospace research. Students attended technical sessions on satellite design, payload integration, testing, and mission operations. ISRO officials explained the role of software, AI, data processing, simulations, and control systems in satellite missions. The visit enhanced students’ technical knowledge and research motivation.

National Seminar on Artificial Intelligence for Advancing Microbial Science
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of Microbiology, jointly organized a one-day national seminar on “Artificial Intelligence for Advancing Microbial Science” on 7th January 2026 at the NMZ Auditorium. The seminar aimed to create awareness among students and faculty on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in microbiology and biological sciences. The program commenced with Qirath, followed by its translation and Tamil Thai Vazhthu. The Welcome Address was delivered by Mr. G. Janarthanan, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology. The Inaugural Address by Dr. K. H. Kaleemullah, Principal i/c, emphasized interdisciplinary learning, followed by a Special Address by Mrs. M. A. Uzefa Rashida, Vice Principal (Shift II) and Director–IQAC, highlighting quality-driven academic initiatives. The first technical session by Dr. Raksha K., Consultant Microbiologist, Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru, focused on AI applications in microbial diagnostics and healthcare. The second session by Dr. Arnold Emerson I., VIT University, Vellore, discussed AI and ML in biological research and bioinformatics. The post-lunch session featured student poster presentations with 14 teams participating. The programme concluded with the Valedictory Address by Dr. A. Shafee Ahmed Khan, Vice Principal (Shift I) and Controller of Examinations. A total of 152 students and 12 staff members participated, making the seminar highly informative and successful.
