21st International Yoga Day Celebration
Mazharul Uloom College (Autonomous) celebrated the 21st International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm on June 21, 2025, bringing together over 100 participants, including students and faculty members. The event aimed to promote the importance of yoga as a holistic practice that nurtures physical health, mental balance, and spiritual well-being. The session commenced with an introduction highlighting the significance of International Yoga Day and its global role in fostering harmony between body and mind. Mr. M. Velavan, a certified Yoga Instructor, was invited to lead the session and guide participants through a series of yogic practices. The practical demonstration focused on three core aspects of yoga: Asanas (Postures): A sequence of foundational poses designed to improve flexibility, strength, and posture. Pranayama (Breathing Techniques): Breathing exercises that enhance respiratory health and mental calmness. Dhyana (Meditation): A guided meditation session promoting mindfulness and inner peace. The participants enthusiastically followed the instructor, reflecting a shared commitment to health and well-being.
