The Admission Process is undertaken by the Admission Committee which follows the norms of the Admission Policy of the State Government of Tamil Nadu as given below.
· The Prospectus and the Fee structure for various courses are displayed in the College Website.
· The Applications are received online.
· The following Registers and other related documents pertaining to the students admission are maintained:
List of Applicants received within the last date of admission fixed by the Thiruvalluvar University.
Applications with copies of related credentials and Original TC from the institution last studied.
Nominal Roll list is prepared based on the admissions.
· The Admissions are made purely on merit comes Conduct basis subject to the reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu as stated below:
1. 31% of Open Competition
2. 26.5% for Backward Classes (BC) other than BC Muslims and 3.5 % for Backward
3. Classes Muslims.
4. 20% for Most Backward Classes (MBC) and Denotified Communities (DNC).
5. 15% for Scheduled Classes (SC) and 3 % for SCA
6. 1 % for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
The rule of reservation will apply to :
50 % of seats in the case of Aided Minority Colleges.
If the number of Applications from Minority Communities is less than 50% of total seats, the remaining Minority Quota is filled up in accordance to the rule of reservation.
Admission Committee is responsible for the entire admission process in the college.
