About COE
The College was granted autonomy from the academic year 2025 -2026 as Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore sent the letter of Conferment of Autonomous Status to the college on 19.11.2024 and also it appointed the University Nominees for various bodies on 25.05.2025.
The COE cell was established in our colle ge from this academic year 2025 -2026 after getting autonomous status for our college from the UGC and the Parent University of our College, Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore.
The Office of the Controller of Examinations, situated in the administrative block beside the Principal’s chamber, is responsible for planning and conducting, 3 CIA Tests and End-Semester Examinations of all the programmes offered by the college. The Controller of Examinations (CoE) oversees the evaluation of answer scripts, result publication, and issuance of mark statements and transcripts. Additionally, CoE’s office offers genuineness and verification services to various stakeholders, including government entities, educational institutions, corporate companies and private verification agencies.
Dr. A. Shafee Ahmed Khan, Vice-Principal – Shift I, Associate Professor & Head, Department of En glish was appointed as the first Controller of Examinations of our college by the Secretary & Correspondent from 09.06.2025. The college follows an extended version of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for UG and PG programmes, which is referred to as Learning Outcome Based Curriculum Framework (LOCF) under Outcome Based Education (OBE) model as per the UGC guidelines from this academic year onwards. The college strictly adhered to the rules and regulations of UGC, TANSCHE and Thiruvlluvar University, Vellore.

Objectives
- To bring innovative reforms in the examination system which is the need of the hour by keeping in mind the current trends in higher education.
- To bring effective and uniform methodology in assessing the performance of the students.
- To transit from mark system in evaluation to grading system.
- To focus on continuous learning by conducting three CIA Tests before the final end semester examinations so that students can face the examinations with confidence and learning can take place at every stage continuously.
- To bring necessary reforms in the Question Paper Pattern, Selection of Examiners, Evaluation Procedure and Publishing Results etc.
