Special Guest Lecture on Mathematics and its Scope

Under the aegis of the Mathematics Association, the Department of Mathematics organized a Special Guest Lecture on “Mathematics and its Scope” on 26th September 2025. Mr. P. Markandan, Associate Professor and Head, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of Mathematics. The Presidential Address was delivered by Mrs. M. A. Uzefa Rashida, Vice-Principal and IQAC Director, emphasizing its role in science and society. Mrs. M. Parveen Banu introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. P. Govindaraju, Associate Professor, Islamiah College (Autonomous), Vaniyambadi. His lecture focused on applications of Mathematics and career opportunities. The session was informative and inspiring. Around 35 students from Mathematics and Computer Science departments actively participated.
